Drive Like a Woman
We're taking back the phrase "drive like a woman." Around here, driving like a woman is a good thing! We have our very first all women private drifitng instructional day, sponsored by NOS Energy Drinks, coming up on Aug 15th at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The event is already booked to the brim, but I plan on getting together plenty more since I have a list of 45 women from 3 states interested in these types of events. Please keep in mind that I intend to get together all kinds of driving events for women only, not just drift. I want to get some grip, drag and rally in there, too. So, if drift isn't your thing, have no fear! We are here! Generally, we need at least 15 girls to make these events affordable. I must put out there that I am not all that great at any other motorsport other than drifting, so if you are and would like to instruct, please email me. If not, all of us girls will just go out there and learn on our own! I have no doubt that we can figure it out with practice! Ok so here is my little description of our first event:
NOS Enery Drinks and Batlground Motorsports introduce the first ever Drive Like a Woman all woman drift instruction event. Drive Like a Woman events are hosted by local racers and TV personalities, Tracy Shayhorn and Daniel Willie of Batlground Motorsports and as seen on Speed TV and Discovery Channel. The events are not open to spectators and the driver count is limited to 15 women for each event so that each lady gets ample seat time.
